Anthem is an family oriented community on a large area of land next to New River, Arizona. It is a newer suburb of Phoenix as of 1998. Anthem is not yet incorporated, however, it is planned to bed annexed from Phoenix by the year 2020. The community has many recreational opportunities such as, golf, hiking and many others.
